OP–Z is an advanced fully portable 16-track sequencer and synthesizer, with a range of both sample based and synthesis based sounds. it's the world's first stand-alone sequencer of its kind, that lets you sequence music, visuals, lights and more.

OP–Z can be used completely stand alone and comes with an intuitive led lit interface. when you want next level real time visual feedback, use the screen you already have in your pocket*.

Hardware features include a usb-c host and device, wireless communication over ble, 4-pin 3.5 mm stereo headphone and line-out, accelerometer, user replaceable battery & built in microphone.

Punch-in fx is a concept inspired from our series of pocket operators, where you can add a layer of live performance effects, and either record them or just to enjoy in real-time.

On OP–Z the punch-in fx is a separate programmable track just like any instrument. the punch-in fx is one of the unique features that makes the OP–Z stand out from a traditional sequencer.

This makes the OP–Z a powerful live performance instrument, extending the possibilities of a pre-programmed track to endless variations.

Line Module:

Line module is designed to bring external audio signals in and out of your OP–Z. it adds a stereo line input and an additional stereo line output to the unit, as well as input and output for midi, trig and po sync. use line in to add external audio signals to your mix and use line out as a second stereo output available within OP–Z.route individual tracks to the module output instead of to the main mix to separate and process the individual tracks, or make effect loops with your favorite effect pedals. easily switch between mono and stereo signals depending on your needs. now you can turn your humble OP–Z into a live performance dream machine.

Oplab Module:

Imagine having the power and flexibility of the OP-Z sequencer available to any other music equipment. now you can, with the new oplab module - the magic link between OP-Z and the rest of the world. the oplab module is the first hardware expansion module for OP-Z. once mounted in the back of your OP-Z, you can use it to connect to any equipment using standard cv and gate, such as the pocket operator modular or any other modular system. it features three cv outs and one gate out, all programmable and playable from OP-Z. have your wall of modules sequenced from the palm of your hands. use the po sync out to unleash the power of your regular pocket operators and have them play in sync with the rest of your setup. even connect standard midi devices, using midi over 3.5 mm jack or the included midi over din adapter cable. oplab features both midi in and out ports as well as trig in and out for other synthesizers and sequencers

Rumble Module:

Rumble is the second hardware expansion module for the OP-Z. It's a built-in haptic subwoofer, using high-definition vibrotactile feedback and psychoacoustic technology, allowing you to feel your music. when using rumble you will feel like you're holding and listening to a deep sounding subwoofer. the frequency response 10 – 150 hz is designed to maximize impact while minimizing additional energy consumption. it also features a silent metronome mode, great when performing live to always know exactly where the beat is. 

Grip Knob Kit:

Go 3D and build on your OP–Z experience with custom grip knobs for your encoders. made for live performance, or those who want an alternative way to play.

Soft Case:

Black, classic soft case for the OP-Z in cordura nylon. EVA foam inside for protection as well as a practical divider for storing cables and other items. Practical wrist strap in durable polyester webbing with teenage engineering custom hardware in aluminium. The case has a velcro patch in the back for attachment to the OP-1 soft case which can be bought separately.
