This 2-channel controller is designed for Serato DJ Lite and features a brand-new, battle-style layout that emulates a professional DJM-S mixer and PLX turntable setup. The battle-style layout is a first for a Pioneer DJ controller at this level. The tempo sliders have been moved to the top of the deck sections and turned horizontally to mimic turntables in a battle configuration. The Performance Pads have been placed in the mixer section along with the Lever FX paddles, exactly where they’re found on the DJM-S series mixers, allowing you to energetically combine effects, trigger samples, and scratch your tracks.
The jog wheels on the DDJ-REV1 are noticeably larger than those on previous beginner-level controllers, making it easier to scratch with precision. A unique Tracking Scratch feature silently takes the music back to a cue point when you move the jog wheel backward, so you can scratch without needing to reset the crossfader. The DDJ-REV1 also integrates your microphone's audio with the master output, so you can easily add your voice to your streams without needing extra gear.
