Building on Audio-Technica's rich analog heritage, the AT-LP5X is a next-generation direct-drive turntable that pushes the performance of its predecessor, the AT-LP5, to new heights. Constructed of anti-vibration damping materials with a heavy-mass metal chassis, this turntable is designed to limit low-frequency acoustical feedback. Its precision-machined, die-cast aluminum platter is powered by a low-noise, direct-drive motor, ensuring stable, on-axis rotation.

 

The AT-LP5X features a J-shaped tonearm inspired by classic Audio-Technica designs from the 1960s and '70s, engineered to minimize tracking errors. It comes fitted with a lightweight AT-HS6 headshell and an AT-VM95E Dual Moving Magnet stereo cartridge. With a built-in switchable MM/MC phono pre-amplifier and line output, you can connect it to components with or without a dedicated phono input. A USB output is also included for converting your vinyl to digital audio files.
